Job description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Operations Director is responsible for managing the operations functions, processes and activities in the Service Center. This responsibility covers processes for contract Initiation, Contract Administration and Contract End. Operations Director has the direct reporting line to Business Service Director SCE (Managing Director VFS Russia).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General
Manage the teams on a day-to-day basis through given systems and procedures
Measure, analyse and control process related KPIs/OPIs
Provide information to the management team on request
Monitor the quality, effectiveness, robustness and transparency of processes and take initiatives to improve
Monitor key responsibilities of direct reports and lead them in the achievement of objectives for their area of responsibility
Develop a result-oriented working environment within the teams
Recruit, develop, train and retain talented people for the teams
Ensure that audit and internal control requirements are met
Manage the processes and procedures to ensure that quality and control requirements are met and that customer expectations are exceeded
Manage that the documentations are stored and handled in an efficient, secured and compliant manner
Support the analysis of, DSI and CSI findings and the actions to optimize processes
Assess and ensure the competency of the direct reports and reinforce accountability through
Manage AML reporting
To be the business owner of the CMS system
Desired Skills and Experience
EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
University degree
Typically minimum of 7 years of experience in Russian financial services industry, including management of an Operations function
Minimum 3 year experience managing a team
Experience in leading IT projects as business owner

High level of PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point).
Strong level of English (oral/written)
